The Training & Learning Centre is a non-profit organization funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. We provide adults with the opportunity to build their skills to prepare for work, training, education and life. We do this by offering free educational upgrading for eligible adults in Renfrew County. Classes available in Eganville, Barry's Bay and Pikwakanagan

Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Summer hours closed for July & August. I will be in the office most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays but we will not have classes.

Algonquin College – Pembroke Campus

Literacy, numeracy and essential skills services to assist in transitioning to employment, apprenticeship, secondary-school credit, post-secondary education or independence. Four delivery streams including Aboriginal, Francophone, Deaf and Anglophone.

Eligibility: Primarily serves adult learners wanting to improve their literacy and numeracy skills to achieve goals of further education and training, employment or increased independence * must have facility in English or French and literacy skills below Grade 12 of the Ontario Curriculum.
